Bill Donaldson, among others. A Museum founding Trustee, Mr. Deutsch served as long-time Chmn. of the Nominating Committee to its Board, Treasurer, and Vice Chairman.
November 9, 2015 – BRANY (Biomedical Research Alliance of New York LLC, a national for-profit clinical trials services company est. in 1998 by leading New York academic medical centers NYU School of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and North Shore-LIJ Health System among others) acquired the assets of HRP Consulting Group, Inc. As Board member and Treasurer, David Deutsch led BRANY’s Special Committee in advising the company’s Board and shareholders (in conjunction with outside advisor, KPMG, and fellow Special Committee members) on the successful completion of the transaction.
October 5, 2015 – Funeral and Honors for John C. Whitehead at Arlington National Cemetery. Fmr. June 20, 2014 – David Deutsch was honored to serve as Master of Ceremonies of the Association For Corporate Growth 2014 Champion’s Awards (an annual tribute to outstanding achievements in middle-market M&A and corporate finance) at The Metropolitan Club of New York. Awardees included Kenneth Kencel of The Carlyle Group with the prestigious Peter Hilton Founders Award, Robert Landis of The Riverside Company with the New York Leadership Award, and Congressmen Sean Patrick Maloney with the organization’s Growth Award.
June 11, 2014 – Breakfast discussion with Treasury Secretary, Jacob Lew and Macy’s CEO Terry Lundgren at The Economic Club of New York. Secretary Lew’s comments were unremarkable: general acknowledgement of too-low economic growth, too-high unemployment and need for investment in economic infrastructure. Q&A focused more on international (China, in particular) than domestic economic policy.
