The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention, founded by Gatorade Inventor Dr. Robert Cade, awarded its 16th annual prizes for invention in Gainesville, Florida, on October 14th. David Deutsch served as one of the business-leading judges of these august prizes. In addition to honoring the legacy of Dr. Cade, the Cade Prize also launched its inaugural Cade Inventor Laureate Award (honoring living inventors whose innovations truly changed the world) – the inaugural honoree, Chris Malachowsky (co-founder of NVIDIA), holds 35 patents that enable high-performance computing, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.
